— Jack's engagement vow to Schuyler.

Benjamin “Jack” Hamilton Force is one of the main protagonists of the Blue Bloods series and a central figure in its first cycle. He is the current incarnation of Abbadon, the Angel of Destruction, and one half of the twin Angels of the Apocalypse, alongside his sister, Madeleine “Mimi” Force. Born to Charles and Trinity Force in this lifetime, Jack was raised among New York’s elite Blue Bloods and attended Duchesne School, where he gained a reputation as the perfect golden boy—handsome, athletic, and effortlessly charming.

⚠ This page is about Jack Force as he appears in the First Cycle of the Blue Bloods series. For his appearance in the After Life and After Death duology, see Jack Force.

Appearance[]

Jack Force is characterized as tall and striking, standing 6'2", with pale platinum blond hair, hooded green eyes, and creamy, transparent skin. He and his twin sister Mimi share ethereal traits, such as long, slender limbs with an almost unearthly beauty. Despite their physical similarities, Jack's cautious and watchful nature stands in stark contrast to Mimi's more gregarious personality. Jack is known for his quiet intensity, and he exudes a calm, observant presence that stands out in any setting.

Biography[]

Abbadon, Angel of Desutrction, is one of the original Fallen Angels. He is eternally bonded to his twin, Azarael, they are coined as the twins of Apocalypse. He chose to fight along Lucifer in the war of Heaven, but chose to side with Gabrielle to try and impress her. After the war, the angels that sided with Lucifer were banished from Paradise and forced to walk the earth as vampires.

Past lives[]

Fall from Paradise[]

Abbadon, the Angel of Destruction, was one of the Apocalyptic Twins, along with his sister Azrael. During the War in Heaven, Abbadon and Azrael initially supported Lucifer, the Morningstar, drawn by his promise of a new order but deceived by their own hubris. In Abbadon's instance, some versions claim he was motivated by a desire to be selected by Gabrielle, the Virtuous, despite the fact that she was already committed to Michael.

However, at the war's peak, Abbadon and Azrael betrayed Lucifer by turning against him in a moment of insight and instead kneeling to Michael. Their defection helped shift the course of the fight, but it was too late to save them from exile. They were driven out of Heaven, along with the rest of the Fallen, and shackled to Earth in immortal, vampiric shells.

Valerius (Rome)[]

During the Fall of Rome, Abbadon reincarnated as Valerius. He was bonded to Agrippina (Azrael) in this cycle. He worked for Cassius (Michael). In this cycle, Caligula had become possessed by Lucifer. Valerius played a key role in the effort to stop him and his army of Silver Bloods. After Caligula discovered the Path of the dead, Cassius proposed to built a gate, allowing for full access between worlds. Caligula agreed, and planned to use the gate as a way to unleash hell on earth.

After Cassius unmasked Caligula as Lucifer. He raged war against the Blue Bloods. Caligula stole the key to the Gate of promise, and planned to unleash the demons on earth. This was a trick planned by Cassius, who knew Caligula would try this. Valerius and Agrippina persuaded Caligula to the Gates of the Promise, where Cassius was waiting. They fought Caligula and thought they successfully trapped him behind the gate.

Iacopo (Florence)[]

During the Renaissance in Florence, Abbadon was reincarnated as Iacopo. A nobleman who was bonded to Margherita (Azrael). This life is only briefly mentioned in Gates of Paradise.

Andreas (Michael) approached lacopo and Margherita to request their help in Tomasia's (Gabrielle's) mysterious pregnancy, Both twins refused to help, voicing suspicion that something darker was at play.

“Iacopo would not come, nor Margherita, so it is just us,” Tiberius was saying. “They refuse to be a part of this. They suspect what is happening.”

Gates of Paradise Tiberius (Araquiel)

Louis D'Orleans (Versailles)[]

Abbadon's reincarnated as Louis D'Orleans during the 1800's in France. He was bonded to Elisabeth de Lorraine-Lillebonne (Azrael). Little is known about this life, although this is the only known recorded past life of Blue Bloods during this era. They appear to have been chosen for this cycle to proximity power in the French royal courts, since they are among the strongest Blue Bloods. Him and Elisabeth had a cycle son, Louis, Duke of Joyeuse. He was a skilled warrior, trained by his parents who adored him deeply. He was killed by Silver Bloods, this was set up by Lucifer who wanted his revenge. He was bonded to Marie Anna de Bourbon, who still mourns him to this day. This is presumably why we haven't seen Azrael and Abbadon have cycle children before.

William White (Plymouth)[]

Abbadon's incarnation during the creation of the American Settlement which would soon became the New York Branch Coven. He was married to Susannah Fuller.

Henry Searle (Newport)[]

Abbadon was reincarnated as Henry Searle, little is known of this life, outside of his bonding to Eliza Whitney (Azrael). The two held prominent roles in high society. Given the rise of human influence during the industrial boom, it is presumed that Henry maintained Coven stability and helped shaped modern society.

Current incarnation[]

Early life[]

At the end of the twentieth century, the North American Coven suffered a significant blow when Allegra Van Alen severed her bond with her brother Charles in order to elope with her human familiar, leaving the Coven behind. Thus, the Blue Blood community was, for the first time ever, deprived of their guide and inspiration, the Archangel Gabrielle. Trying to reassert his grip on the situation and in order to reassure his followers about his leadership, Charles took up the name Force, married Trinity Burden and decided to bring the twin angels of the Apocalypse back for this cycle. Months later, the twins Benjamin and Madeleine were born.

When his memories of his past lives and his abilities began to awaken, he was inducted into the Committee along with his sister. However, Jack stopped going to the Committee meetings at some point.

Jack believes his affections for Schuyler are affected by her likeness to her mother. When Jack inquires about what the Coven intends to do with Schuyler, Charles responds that she will face no consequences for the time being. Jack turns back to his twin, his bondmate, his other half. He realizes he cannot turn his back on his bondmate and pushes his feelings for Schuyler away. Charles then informs the twins that he understands their curiosity about Aggie's death and tells them what happened.

"Then he looked up at Mimi. His sister. His partner, his better half, his best friend and worst enemy. It was she who had been with him since the beginning. It was her hand that he reached for now in the darkness. She was strong, she was a survivor. It was from her that he drew his strength."
