Bringing the family back[]
Across the many centuries his family passed on Earth, and for some obscure reason, the King realised he needed the powers he had given to the five women of the family. Unable to cross the Portal by himself because he was too sick, the King set up a plan to go to Earth anyway. He first had his spirit placed inside Frederick's body to survive the journey through the Portal and had a Mandragora sent to find a suitable host body in East Haven.
His spirit created a mark on Frederick's chest, which gave him near-invincibility and allowed the King to supervise the progression of his grandson's mission. Seeing as this progression was far too slow and that the Mandragora had been killed by the Beauchamps, the King's Spirit called on Tarkoff to make sure Frederick would go on the next step: put his mother, Joanna, out of the way.

- Resurrection: King Nikolaus can resurrect anyone without the need of a sacrifice.
- Shapeshifting: King Nikolaus can alter is hosts form from his original form to his hosts form.
Relationships[]
Relatives[]
- Joanna and Wendy: It is unknown how King Nikolaus and his daughters interracted before the war. But according to Wendy, the seductive power of the Serpens Clavem corrupted him to the bone and turned him into a ruthless and somber ruler, which led to a war after his accession to the throne. When the witches following him managed to defeat their opponents, he promised he would kill his daughters if they ever tried to come back to Asgard.
While Joanna used to be his favourite before the war, Wendy had always been his least favourite daughter.
It is believed that King Nikolaus turned Frederick on his mother to keep him in Asgard after Joanna, Wendy, Victor and the others ran away from their home dimension.
