Marilyn Fenwick was the name of a fake relative of the Beauchamp family, which Joanna went to great lengths to create in the eyes of the law.
History[]

Millions of dollars, hidden in plain sight.
When they were younger, the matriarch of the Beauchamps would take her two daughters to put flowers onto their "aunt" Marilyn's grave, maintaining the illusion that she was real in the eyes of the people of East Haven.[1] However, the grave was nothing but a safe place where Joanna had buried a little fortune, just in case she or her daughters ever needed it.

The Beauchamps lay Doug to rest.
As it turned out, when Joanna got accused for the murder of Bill Thatcher, her lawyer, Harrison Welles, managed to get her out of custody on the condition that she pay a million dollar. She therefore sent her daughters, Ingrid and Freya, as well as her sister Wendy to recover the money from the grave. Later on, the grave served as a resting place for the painting in which they imprisoned Doug, a warlock who had been sent to kill Freya.[2]
