The slaughter in Rio de Janeiro was an event which happened in the Almeidas' Mansion in the Brasilian city of Rio de Janeiro. Corrupted by the Silver Blood influence a long time ago, the South American Coven played low-profile for years in front of the North American Coven and waited for the right time to strike. During a diner at the Almeidas (the House of the Regent), the Silver Blood set a trap for the Wardens of New York and killed many of them in the assault.
